About Jackson K. Segars
Born and raised in rural Mississippi, Jackson moved to New York to study filmmaking at New York University. His thesis film Evergreen screened at Indie Memphis and Oxford Film Festival, among others. Since graduating, he has continued to live and work in New York, making his wage by freelancing as an editor of commercials and creating online content. In his spare time, he watches lots of movies and makes them with his friends – some of which have even turned out pretty well.
